Is Nokia G20 overpriced than its competitors?

Released On:August 05, 2021

The Nokia G20 features a simple but functional design with 3-day long battery life, and Android 11 software runs the phone smoo thly. In India, the Nokia G20 is offered in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version for Rs. 12,999. The phone has a triple slot that can hold two Nano-SIM cards as well as a microSD card.

This phone's design is a hybrid of the Nokia 2.4 and Nokia 5.4. It is 9.2mm thick and weighs 197g. The handset has a plastic frame and back panel, yet it doesn't appear or feel cheap. The back panel has a thin notched texture that is both comfortable to hold and gives the phone a quality feel. However, the included 10W charger was able to charge the 5,050mAh battery to 18% in 30 minutes and 37% in an hour. The charging time was 3 hours and 5 minutes.

The G20 includes a circular camera module on the rear, similar to the Nokia 5.4, but instead of being below the cameras, it has a fingerprint scanner on the right side. A 48-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide photographic camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera are all included on the rear of the smartphone. An 8-megapixel camera is in charge of taking selfies. The user experience is similar to other Nokia camera apps we've seen in the past. In Photo mode, it provides rapid access to critical controls.

While the price isn't outrageous for a basic smartphone nowadays, it's simple to conclude that the Nokia G20 is overpriced when compared to the competitors in terms of specifications and value-added functions.
